1. Introduction
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a United States copyright law that was enacted on October 28, 1998. The DMCA implements two 1996 treaties of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and is designed to update copyright law for the digital age. This legislation provides a framework for addressing copyright infringement that occurs online, particularly in relation to the use of copyrighted materials on the internet. This document outlines the policies and procedures that The Service follows in compliance with the DMCA.
2. Copyright Infringement Notification
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide The Service's designated copyright agent with a written notification that includes the following information: (a) a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner; (b) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (c) identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on The Platform; (d) your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and email address; (e) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (f) a statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner
